Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone out there! I am home and settling in again. I can't tell you how much all your posts, e-mails, cards, calls, prayers and facebook comments mean to me-the world. Thanks for keeping them coming. They keep me going and keep me from feeling lonely and from thinking too much about what is going on. I must admit that before the surgery I felt strong and wasn't feeling down. Now that that part is over, it is getting harder to keep my chin up all the time. Which is why all of your ways of reaching out to me mean a lot to me. They keep me going. Thank you for taking time each day for me. I can't wait until I am up to talking to each and everyone of you!
Here is what will happen next:
I have a doctor appointmenton Thursday. I will find out the results of the tests run after my surgery and I will be getting my many staples out!
I will let you know how all that goes! Thanks for being my cheerleaders!
Much love, Theresa

OK here's a funny...went to the chiropactor yesterday, he's also a physical therapist, he was giving me exercises the strengthen my core, so he's poking my lower belly, saying "harder, harder" as I'm trying to contract the muscles...I finally burst out laughing "it's as hard as it gets after having a baby 4 1/2 months ago, THERE ARE NO MUSCLES!!" Bt you can't wait for those staples to come out!!
ReplyDeleteLots of love,
Liz
Thinking about you and saying prayers everyday. Waiting to see when you will be up for calls!! Want to talk but don't want to stress you!! Good luck on Thursday! Love you, Tar
ReplyDeleteTheresa - I'm glad we got to talk for a bit yesterday. You sounded 1000 times better than when you were readmitted to the hospital. Get your rest. Mom and Kurt can handle the house, cooking, and watching Kaeli. I'll give you a call tonight to see if you're up for talking.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on Thursday. We're praying for you!

Dan

Hi Theresa,
ReplyDeleteYou are such a strong, amazing person...stay positive, even though that is very difficult to do through your journey of cancer. There are so many people, who are thinking of you, praying for you and your family. I will walk by your side through your journey helping you along. I'm here for you to listen and support and help you through this difficult time. You know to call day or night, when you need someone to listen who knows what you are feeling. I'll be thinking of you Thursday. When you are feeling up to it, maybe I could come up for a visit.
P.S. Tell Kurt that John is here if he needs to talk.
