I just got off of the phone with Theresa. She was preparing for her ride home when I called. It sounds like she is doing MUCH better than she had been over the past few days. She said that the pain is still there, but it is "more than manageable".
She has orders from the doctor to take it easy (for the most part). She is not supposed to do anything like laundry, cooking, etc by herself. But - she does have to get up and walk as much as she can. That will help to promote healing and it will help get her digestive system back to normal.
Our mom will be arriving tomorrow, so she'll be able to help out quite a bit with the household stuff, and I know Theresa has a lot of great neighbors that will be helping out as well.

Yay Theresa!!! Home again! I am so proud of how you are doing. I know you don't do pain well, you have approached this with amazing strength. I look forward to talking with you when you can. You know I am always here.
